The present document captures the finding of the study of performance benefits and feasibility of 1024QAM for LTE downlink channels, as defined in Work Item 'Enhancements for high capacity stationary wireless link and introduction of 1024 QAM for LTE' [2]. This activity involves the Radio Access work area of the 3GPP studies and has impacts both on the Mobile Equipment and Access Network of the 3GPP systems. This document is intended to gather all information and draw a conclusion on way forward. This document is a 'living' document, i.e. it is permanently updated and presented to TSG-RAN meetings.
