This TS specifies the interworking between SIP-I based circuit-switched core network, as specified in TS 23.231 and TS 29.231, with out-of-band transcoder control related procedures in TS 23.153, and:
  • an external SIP-I based signalling network compliant to ITU-T Recommendation Q.1912.5,
  • an ISUP (ITU-T Recommendations Q.761 to Q.764) based network such as an ISUP based 3GPP CS Domain or a PSTN,
  • a BICC (ITU-T Recommendations Q.1902.1 to Q.1902.6) based network such as an BICC based 3GPP CS Domain as specified in TS 23.205 and TS 29.205,
  • an IP Multimedia Subsystem, as specified in TS 23.228 and TS 24.229.
