1  Scopep. 8

The scope of this Technical Report is to study and evaluate the possible architecture enhancements to the Proximity-based Services (ProSe) system defined in TS 23.303, based on the relevant Stage 1 requirements defined in TS 22.278 and TS 22.115.
The present Technical Report documents the analysis and general principles agreed regarding these objectives, and collects the solution details developed based on these agreements, in order to progress them to the relevant specifications.

2  Referencesp. 8

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of the present document.
  • References are either specific (identified by date of publication, edition number, version number, etc.) or non specific.
  • For a specific reference, subsequent revisions do not apply.
  • For a non-specific reference, the latest version applies. In the case of a reference to a 3GPP document (including a GSM document), a non-specific reference implicitly refers to the latest version of that document in the same Release as the present document.
