Tech-invite was introduced in 2005, from an individual initiative and on a best-effort basis, as "a portal dedicated to SIP and surrounding technologies".
As of January 2010, the scope of this site is much broader since it has been extended to three SDOs: IETF, 3GPP and ETSI, and potentially many topics. Nevertheless, so far, the bulk of the work that has been made during the last year relates to the extension of the references to the standardization work, which are maintained up-to-date.
The aim of Tech-invite is to provide the Internet and Telecom global community with a one-stop portal
to broadcast the latest information about standardization. The next step, as shown on the figure above, is to extensively develop the site by dedicating many more resources to it. As a result, the development of the site should be exponential and, while the part relating to the references should still increase, the second part dedicated to the "contents" should also develop further.
The way this could be carried out is still under study, and the Membership program presented hereafter is the preferred option.

Since the IETF and 3GPP standardization references are now fully covered, we are restructuring the topics.
Please let us know, according to your needs, which IETF / 3GPP / ETSI topics (and associated ones) should be primarily addressed.
