The scope of this TS is to establish the characteristics of the spreading and modulation in the FDD mode, and to specify:
  • the spreading (channelisation plus scrambling);
  • generation of channelisation and scrambling codes;
  • generation of RACH preamble codes;
  • generation of SCH synchronisation codes;
  • modulation.
RF channel arrangements and Pulse shaping are specified in TS 25.101 for UE and in TS 25.104 for Node-B.
